Looking back, on the season 2019/20, we did a lot of different, original activations with our ambassadors, as a part of Gorenje’s handball sponsorship.
One of the most successful activations we did lately was the one in collaboration with our monthly ambassador, Slovenian national team handball player, Blaz Janc and his current club, PGE VIVE Kielce.
We took the plane and flew to Warsaw and from there we drove directly to Kielce with only one plan in mind – to create as many handball pranks as possible.
Our plan worked out perfectly as we did not only prank our ambassador’s teammates and random strangers on the streets of Kielce but also the ambassador himself.
There was a lot of laugh, unpredictable moments and surprised faces.
All together we created eight different videos and shared them with handball enthusiasts on our @gorenjesimplyfans Instagram and Facebook accounts.
The reactions from fans were great and we were more than happy to be the ones that brought smiles on the faces, during the difficult times of the lockdown caused by COVID-19.
The handball pranks videos reached half of a million views and included some of the biggest handball stars like Andreas Wolff, Igor Karacic, Artsem Karalek and Branko Vujovic.
Videos were shared across social media from both fans and players themselves.
The ‘handball prank invasion’ activation offered fans not only funny videos but also the possibility to win signed jerseys of the handball players included in the pranks.
