Wonderful weekend is behind us and before we move to the next #simplyfans adventure let’s recap together what happened at the EHF Final4.
GUESS THE WINNER
At our outdoor stand at the Lanxess arena, our fans could see Gorenje retro fridges in totally new outfits. Three boys and one girl fridge were there as a prize for our game participants who bet on their favorite team.
After every match we drew a winner who bet on the winning team and gifted him with one of our four fridges.
#SIMPLYFANSWALL
We named our inside stand in the arena #simplyfanswall as we were creating wall mosaic from the photos that fans took at our photobooth.
Each fan that took photo at our photobooth also got printed photo as a memory from the EHF Final4.
HALF-TIME GAME
Our team collaborated with the EHF and created a funny game that occured at the half time of the match.
Two participants had to dribble the ball while picking up the Salming jerseys from floor in order to put them into Gorenje washing machine at the end.
The fastest participant won Gorenje smoothie maker.
VIP TOUR OF THE ARENA + LUNCH WITH IVANO
For the past four months we have had a #simplyfansunited contest at our Instagram profile. Participants were asked to share a photo of them with the fan of the opposite team to express unity among handball fans. We chose four winners at the end of the contest and surprised them with very special treatment.
Each of the participants got two tickets for the EHF Final4 and accommodation in the hotel but that was not all - they also got an opportunity to go on a VIP tour of the arena, discover places that are normally forbidden for the public, like locker rooms, media room, mix zone.
The second surprise for our winners was lunch at the Radisson Blu’s restaurant with our ambassador, Ivano Balic. Our #simplyfansunited winners could enjoy in delicious meal while chitchatting with the legend. Of course we didn’t forget to take tons of selfies!
There was a lot going on but the most important were of course the handball matches themselves. We saw incredible players, good matches and dramatic turns no one could expect. Just so much excitement for the fans and the teams as well. The weekend ended in the light of a thousands pulsing screens in colors of Gorenje. The turquoise and white overflowed the arena and fans of handball were once again reunited.
