Handball fan`s artistic sides series: Anna Benicewicz-Miazga

Being a handball fan can mean a lot of things – enjoyment in playing or training handball, it can mean desire to visit handball games and sometimes handball can also inspire an artistic side of a fan.

We saw many talented handball fans doing amazing art connected to this beautiful sport and decided to do a series of articles where you will be able to meet them and where their work will get recognized.

MEET ANNA …

Today we want you to meet young photographer, which originally comes from Warsaw but lives in Kielce. Her name is Anna and beside being a great photographer, she is also a graphic designer and sport graphic designer.

WHY HANDBALL …

We asked Anna how and why handball and she explained that she went to the first handball match totally by accident and she immediately fell in love with this sport. What she as a photographer loves the most about handball is its dynamic which is very interesting for a photography.

PGE VIVE KIELCE …

Anna is not just a hobby fan of handball but is seriously involved as a photographer for the official matches of PGE VIVE Kielce for the past 10 years. For the same club she also designed calendars and other graphics.

PGE VIVE Kielce is not the only handball institution she has been working with, she did some work also for the Polish Handball Association.

Her photos were published in media worldwide.

ABOUT HER WORK …

Young Polish photographer explains that she is all the time looking for new ways to make interesting handball photos and tries to shoot with a 3D lens, long exposure time. She created panoramic photos, photo manipulations and collages, everything with the goal to show the dynamic of this beautiful sport – handball.

In the spirit of our #simplyfansunited contest spirit, Anna created for us some great graphics which represent the connection between fans of different handball clubs.

Thank you Anna.
