Tuesday, 7th November 2017, Velenje Gorenje among the largest partners of European handball Gorenje has become the official sponsor of the upcoming European handball championships in Croatia in 2018, as well as in Norway, Sweden and Austria in 2020. All through the end of the 2019/2020 season, it is also the official sponsor of VELUX EHF Champions League.
