BENJAMIN BURIĆ - a real life champion and our new monthly ambassador

Another beautiful month, another beautiful #simplygive story.

In november our choosen ambassador is Benjamin Burić.

Some may call him one of the best handball goalkeepers in the world, some may call hime the best handball player of Bosnian national handball team and we call him a real life champion.

Throughout the month you will be able to watch short #SIMPLYGIVE video episodes on our Instagram channel - @gorenjesimplyfans.

Each episode will reveal a story about Benjamin, his beginnings, his handball career, his biggest supporters and the story of giving back to his roots – to his first handball club in his hometown – Maglaj.

Episodes full of emotions will take you back in time, when Benjamin was just a small boy full of life and playful as every other kid until the war in his country brutally interrupted his childhood.

From a child hidding in the basment to not get killed by a bomb, to the one of the best handball goalkeepers in the world – story of a real life champion.

Benjamin knows that he owes everything to his parents, but also to his first handball club and the trainers. Decision to give back to the young generations of RK Maglaj was for him the only right thing to do and with the help of Gorenje, he made it, he #simplygive it back.
